About The DKC

Hello, I’m Diane.

I am a knitter, urban spinner and yarn afficionado.

A lover of coffee and earl grey tea. Most Saturday mornings, I’m at my local café with a notebook and fountain pen writing my thoughts on creativity.

Knitting since the 1980’s has defined me as vintage, however, Ravelry has modernised me.

Welcome to The Dublin Knit Collective, a blog born out of my passion for knitting and entering the blogsphere.

This is where you will read about my pursuit of knitworking adventures and the neverending search for other knitters.

    1. Hi my name is Lynne and I live in Portrane. Have you been to the Swords knitting in the Premier Inn on a Tuesday night. I would be interested in going along. Haven’t knitted in years but have now just gotten back into knitting a baby jumper for my son’s carer who has a new baby.

      1. Hello Lynne, I personally have not attended the Swords group, but group does meet regularly, and they are a very friendly and welcoming group of knitters.
